Honesdale/Pocono KOA Campground invites you to its peaceful setting in the Northern Pocono Mountains! Enjoy the local wildlife in the campground and surrounding area from the spacious RV & Tent Sites. Being able to handle even the largest RV’s, our sites feature full hookups, cable TV, fire rings, picnic tables, or you can enjoy our Patio Sites with Gas grill, Patio tables, and fire feature! Our snack bar in our store can serve you up with a great Pizza, Wings, and smooth Cold Brew Iced Coffee! Browse our camp store for your Camping needs or purchase a memento or gift for a loved one. You can stay connected to friends and family with our free wifi. The Northern Poconos offer plenty of fishing, hiking, & golfing near the campground. You can take some great Train Tours in Honesdale or at the Steamtown Train Museum and drop down over 300 feet below the earth in a real coal mine at the Lackawanna Coal Mine Tour. Don’t forget to check out the concerts at Bethel Woods, or see some antique glass at the Dorflinger Glass Museum and Wildlife Sanctuary! Don’t have an RV? Come and stay in one of our Deluxe Cabins! Limited services April 15 – May 15 and October 1 – October 16th. Pool: Memorial Weekend – Labor Day Weekend. Max pull thru: 90 feet.

MINI GOLF New 18 Hole Mini golf course! Play a game of mini golf with your family or join in one of our mini golf kids tournaments!POOL Enjoy a day of lounging at our pool or going for a dip with the family and friends!PLAYGROUND Our playground has a “castle” and a “ship”, swings, parallel bars, and other fun structures for the kids!
GENERAL STORE Our store is stocked with cold drinks and groceries as well as those products you may have left at home, like ketchup or marshmallows. Don’t forget to check out our camping area as we carry most camping items you may need. Our kids section in full of goodies, toys, and games and Mom don’t forget to check out our gifts and clothing and sundries!

You may need to bring your water blaster’s for our water rides or you may take a ride with Santa!FISHING Our pond is stocked with blue gills, sunny’s, & bass and waiting for you to bait your hook. All ages are welcome!KOA KAMP K9 It’s time for the doggy’s to exercise!! Bring them to their own play grown and take them off their leash and let them run in this fenced in area just for dogs! Use our campground as your base to visit the Steamtown Train Museum & Lackawanna Coal Mine Tours, Bethel Woods & Nascar’s The Pocono Raceway! Don’t forget to check the schedule at Bethel Woods and enjoy a great concert at the original Woodstock Festival!! You can check out the History of Honesdale with America’s 1st Commercial Railroad – Stourbridge Lion Train Tours, visit Dorlinger-Suydam Wildlife Sanctuary/Glass Museum, Tanner’s Falls, and enjoy all the fun Festivals like Roots & Rhythm and SteamPunk, and June & July Concerts in the Park!STEAMTOWN TRAIN MUSEUM350 Cliff StreetScranton, PA 18503Steamtown is a museum located in Scranton’s old railroad yards. The museum features a number of exhibits about railroads, focusing on steam-powered trains. In addition to the indoor museum, there are trains, locomotives, and railcars on display of which a number of them you can climb up into. About every hour or two there is a short excursion on one of the vintage trains.
THE STOURBRIDGE LION AND THE BIRTHPLACE OF AMERICA’S COMMERCIAL RAILROAD!Main StreetHonesdale, PA 18431If you’re a history buff you will want to take a ride on the Delaware, Lackawaxen & Stourbrigde Lion Train. It’s located right in Honesdale and weekend train rides run from March to December! You can also go to the Stourbridge Lion Museum on Main Street and see the Lion replica on display and learn how the train was used to take coal from the coal mines into Honesdale and then onto the canals for shipment to NYC! WAYNE COUNTY FAIR191 NorthHonesdale, PA 18431We are the closest campground to the Wayne County Fair. This week long fair starts the 1st Friday in August and runs for a full week! Games, rides, food, exhibits, farm animals, thrill shows, live entertainment, & always a great country music event on the Grandstand($). Pay $10.00 – one price, all day, everyday. Price includes most grandstand shows, free parking, and free rides.
LACKAWANA COAL MINE TOURSKeyser AvenueScranton, PA 18503Ride a coal cart down into an actual coal mine! The tour cart descends 300 feet into a mine shaft old slope #190. Watch the sky disappear! Accompany a miner while exploring an Anthracite coal mine orinigally opened in 1860. Great for kids and history buffs, a guided tour provides an idea of what it was like to work in the mines. Bring a jacket, even in the summer. Open April to November, 10:00 – 4:30
